Image Graphic Design of Origin – Manchester by Urbanland Studio. Urban Land Studio was engaged by the client with a brief to produce an original design of exceptional quality that would become a landmark within Manchester.

The Origin developments lies adjacent to the Rochdale Canal and the lively Canal Street district and compromises of three towers containing mixed hotel, commercial, retail and residential elements.

The landscape element lies within the centre of the tower and along a stretch of the canal.

As designer we also wished to produce a design that would have cultural significance and meaning and as such we produced a concept influenced by the past cotton weaving heritage of Manchester.
