Firstly, the detritus of ill conceived additions and haphazard care were pealed away to reveal the honest character of the structure. Then, Nardi Associates interlaid their offices within the shell of the building without denying expression to the unique features that enliven the interior of the building. The exterior challenge then became to restore the building’s prominence in the historic fabric of the community.
