Passive systems, such as site orientation, passive solar and passive ventilation as well as geothermal, VOC free materials, in-floor heating, thick foam insulation at building envelope, solar and photovoltaic technologies are used in an effort to reduce energy consumption.

The folding sloped front facade wall is made of a long lasting, durable, triple layered slate. Exposed stainless steel clips carry the slate, making the fastening system visible and provides an additional texture to the triple layered wall system.
