A residential tower provides accommodation for homeless families where the residents had no access to gardens or open space. There was a limited budget for the design and construction of the garden.

Working with Pedder Scampton Architects, Urban Land Studio undertook consultation with the residents and developed a simple but robust multi-use space for the residents.

A design was developed based around a series of outdoor rooms, each separated by a simple timber structure. Each separate space has a different function: plavground; sociaI/barbecue area; quiet contemplative garden.
