Building Graphic Design of Mississippi Avenue Lofts Portland, OR by MWA Architects. Mississippi Avenue Lofts is a highly-sustainable, mixed-use infill development in Portland. The 57,196 sf building features 32 residential lofts with structured parking and locally-owned retail stores at street level.
One and two level lofts include studios, one and two bedroom units as well as penthouses with generous outdoor terraces. The design utilizes cast-in-place concrete and glue-laminated timber, constructed to stand the test of time. The inner courtyard allows for abundant day-lighting and natural flow-thru ventilation in all units.
This transit-oriented development encourages the use of alternative modes of transit by providing dedicated “Flexcar” parking on street; 6 on-street bicycle parking spots; 14 in-lobby securable bicycle parking stalls; 53 securable bicycle hangers within individual lofts.
