It is sensibly oriented with careful location of extended overhangs, covered porches and screen porch. In order to eliminate the potential harmful effects associated with attached garages, this home has a detached garage. Other features include:

· Thermal siphon by using high windows at stair tower to facilitate natural ventilation

· Formaldehyde-free damp-blown cellulose insulation

· High efficiency gas furnace and A/C system with Space Guard filter and germicidal UV light filter
· ISOKERN masonry fireplace
